Originally released in 1978, Stardust is one of Willie Nelson's most celebrated recordings and the best-selling album of his extraordinary career. At a time when country music was looking firmly towards contemporary material, Nelson defied expectations by recording an album of timeless standards from the Great American Songbook and created an enduring classic in the process
Produced by legendary Booker T. Jones, Stardust presents Nelson's unmistakable interpretations of ten beloved songs, two of which became hits on the country charts, while the album stayed on the Billboard Album charts for a decade. Included are classics like Blue Skies, All Of Me, the title track and Willies Grammy winning take on Georgia On My Mind.
