Released in July 1992, The Criminal Under My Own Hat stands as one of T Bone Burnetts more ambitious solo efforts. Produced by Burnett himself alongside Bob Neuwirth, the album is often regarded by critics as a return to his songwriting roots, melding stark acoustic moments with more daring, offkilter rock textures. The album earned industry recognition as it was nominated for a Grammy Award in the category Best Contemporary Folk Album. Some of the highlights on this album are the tracks "Over You", "Tear This Building Down" and "It's Not Too Late".

For the first time ever on vinyl, The Criminal Under My Own Hat is now available as a limited edition of 1000 numbered copies on red, black and white marbled vinyl and includes an insert with lyrics.
