This 1962 live engagement at the Village Gate marked Sonny Rollins first recorded collaboration with Don Cherry. It features the saxophonists pianoless quartet with Bob Cranshaw on bass and Billy Higgins on drums. Presented here are three performances never before issued on vinyl, taped in Stereo and with brilliant sound quality.
