Originally released on CD and cassette in 1996, the original sound track for The Truth and The Light (Music from the X-Files) is presented here for Record Store Day 2020, pressed onto 12 glow in the dark green coloured vinyl. With its evocative and eerie vibe, as described by Stephen Thomas Erlewine (AllMusic), this soundtrack holds its own as a stellar stand-alone body of music, separate from the series.
