The third studio album from Bradfords New Model Army, The Ghost of Cain is a definitive landmark of 80s alternative rock and post-punk. Produced by the legendary Glyn Johns, the record traded the band's earlier raw punk edge for a more expansive, brooding sound. It is most famous for the blistering anthem "51st State," a scathing critique of American influence on British culture. Reissued on Black Vinyl
