"The Daywalker returned to the big screen in 2002s Blade II, with the auteur Guillermo Del Toro taking over directing duties. The film saw the titular character joining forces with an elite group of vampires in a fight against a group of mutant vampires plotting the demise of humans and vampires alike. Varse Sarabandes 2-LP set marks the first-ever vinyl release of Marco Beltramis deluxe edition score, which comes in a gatefold jacket with brand-new art by acclaimed illustrator Micha Huigen."
