The second gripping season of Major Crimes sees the team working overtime to untangle the most challenging cases theyve ever faced. But working to rid L.A.s streets of the worst kind of criminal is only part of the equation, as the team faces more personal and professional struggles than ever while they continue to make deals and crack cases. Captain Sharon Raydor (Academy Award Nominee Mary McDonnell) continues to balance her role as team leader with her often controversial lets-make-a-deal approach to putting perps behind bars. Then the captain faces a new issue with the arrival of Deputy D.A. Emma Rios (Nadine Velazquez), who wants to see young runaway Rusty (Graham Patrick Martin) removed from Raydors custody. And the captains life gets even more problematic with the sudden reappearance of her down-and-out attorney ex-husband (Emmy Award winner Tom Berenger). From solving the grisly murder of an adulterous film directors wife, to trailing a serial killer who moves into the homes of his victims, to unraveling the baffling death of an upper-crust grad student in an inner city gang-war zone, this latest season features all the crime-scene savvy and interpersonal fireworks youve come to expect from the dedicated professionals of Major Crimes.
