Formed between London and the outskirts of Glasgow, INTA-CITY is a new clandestine jazz-funk project
from Daniel Maunick alongside Zaidi Kiggundu and Jamie McShane AKA Zaimie.
With the rebellious spirit of the British funk hustlers of the 1980s Freeez, Light of the World, Incognito
The Warriors, all of which counted Maunicks father Jean Paul Bluey Maunick among their founding
members INTA-CITY adopt the DIY, solidaristic and dancefloor-first ethos of the original movement: no
frontman, no band photos or fancy music videos. Just music to move to.
Ahead of their debut album release next year, the band have enlisted Boston edit master Kon, Italian
cosmic royalty Daniele Baldelli & DJ Rocca, and Bolognese duo G&D for a limited edition remix 12 and digital
release out 18th September 2026 via Far Out Recordings.
