Francis Rossi is the co-founding member, frontman, lead guitarist, and one of the principal songwriters of Status Quo, one of the most successful and enduring rock bands in British music history.

For more than five decades, his distinctive voice, songwriting, and stage presence have been central to the band's global success.

With over 100 million albums sold worldwide and a remarkable string of hit singles, Status Quo became a defining force in classic rock.

Rossi's influence extends far beyond the charts, helping to shape the sound and identity of British rock across generations.

A recipient of numerous industry accolades, he remains one of the most recognizable and respected figures in the genre.

It is impossible to discuss the history and cultural impact of rock music in the UK and Europe without acknowledging the lasting contribution of Francis Rossi and Status Quo.

Following the critical and commercial success of "The Way We Were Vol. 1" and the acclaimed studio album "The Accidental", Francis Rossi once again opens his private archive for "The Way We Were Vol. 2".

As with the first volume, listeners are given access to the intimate, original recordings of compositions that would later evolve into Status Quo classics or Francis Rossi solo tracks. A unique opportunity to experience these songs in their purest form, capturing the initial ideas and emotions before production and further contributions shaped the final releases.

Known for his perfectionism, Rossis decision to share these recordings underlines just how much these compositions mean to him. Fans will appreciate both the raw rock energy that drives many of the tracks and the more reflective acoustic moments, all rooted in the timeless spirit of rock n roll.

"The Way We Were Vol. 1" was widely recognized for offering a fascinating insight into Rossis songwriting process. With Volume 2, that journey continues, bringing listeners even closer to the songs, the stories, and the artist behind them.
