"Evil Genius" by Abruptum is a compilation album of early works, primarily showcasing the band''s transition from black metal into noise music. It''s known for its extremely raw, chaotic, and often unsettling sound, described by some as "total and utter brutality". The album is not considered "easy listening" and is generally an acquired taste, even within the black metal genre.
