Thats the Way of the World was released in 1975 and rose to Number One on both the Billboard Top 200 and Top Soul Albums charts. The album has been certified Triple Platinum in the U.S. and features the Number One singles Thats the Way of the World and Shining Star.
That's the Way of the World was produced by both EWF leader Maurice White and Charles Stepney. Originally recorded as a movie soundtrack, the funk bands sixth album attained a life of its own thanks to its pioneering soul sound, overarching optimism, and a savvy early release.
