Tyler, The Creators 2017 album Flower Boy represents the stunning culmination of everything the hip hop prodigy had aimed for since his arrival on the scene as a founding member of the Odd Future collective in 2007. With a cast of A-List collaborators including Frank Ocean, Kali Uchis, A$AP Rocky, Lil Wayne and Steve Lacy amongst others, Tyler crafts a perfect album of modern hip hop with R&B, soul and jazz inflections that, akin to many genre classics, continues to act as a crucial hip hop gateway for a new generation of listeners.
