long time caller, first time listener is the follow-up to rising London indie/alt country combo vegas water taxis cult favourite debut LP things are gonna be alright from 2023.

Combining their acclaimed long time caller EP with its follow-up first time listener, it showcases vwt leader Ben Hambros knack for deadly funny songwriting that doesnt shy away from the all-too-real sadness at its core.

Perfectly bottling the cultural zeitgeist, VWT refracts the swaggering charm of Americana through a distinctly British prism; swapping US road trips, trucks and dive bar whiskey, for late-night Overground rides, Dalston creative director gossip and scampi fries in the Spurstowe Arms
