Thunder and Lightning, released on 4 March 1983, was Thin Lizzy's twelfth and final studio album, reaching number four in the UK. New guitarist John Sykes brought a heavier sound, while keyboardist Darren Wharton co-wrote several songs, including "The Sun Goes Down". After a farewell tour and the live album Life, Phil Lynott passed away in 1986. This new CD contains studio demos from the recordings, raw, alternative versions that provide a unique insight into Lizzy's final chapter and is a must-have for fans.
