After the death of Duane Allman in late 1971, Dickey Betts became the Allman Brothers Band''s sole guitarist and also took on a greater singing and leadership role. Betts'' Great American Music Show featured many of the players from his solo album, and all these musicians combined to create a show that authentically traced the history of American music. His show at San Francisco''s Winterland Arena on December 14th ''74 became the premier event on the short tour he and his entourage performed at this time, and while previously unreleased the entire event is now available on the 2CD Set for the first time.
